Record Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia are now just one win away from a historic 22nd league title after a commanding 3-1 victory over Murang’a Seal at the Nyayo National Stadium. K’Ogalo took the lead in the 18th minute through Samuel Kapen before Murang’a Seal hit back just before halftime, with top scorer Joe Waithera leveling the match in the 38th minute. But after the break, Gor Mahia turned on the style as Musa Shariff restored the lead before super sub Ebenezer Assifuah Inkoom sealed the win with a third goal 13 minutes from time. The result sends Gor Mahia to 68 points, four clear of second-placed AFC Leopards as the title race nears its final twist.
