President William Ruto says the government has allocated 10 billion shillings to buy relief food and livestock feeds, saying the move will ensure no one dies of starvation. The Head of State, who was in Mandera and Wajir counties, said the government is seeking a long-lasting solution to address the drought menace through the national infrastructure fund to construct 50 mega dams and 1000 micro dams to help in the irrigation of 2.5 million acres for food production.
