Electricity consumers in Kenya have reason to celebrate this month as they are poised to enjoy a significant 13.7 per cent drop in their power bills. This reduction, according to Kenya Power, is attributed to the strengthening of the Kenyan shilling. This news comes hot on the heels of another development in the energy sector. Just yesterday, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced the fifth consecutive reduction in pump prices, marking the largest margin seen in the past five years.
