Government embarks on improving the road network in the country

The status of road infrastructure is on the spotlight as the government embarks on improving the road network in the country. Government agency charged with overseeing development and repairing of roads, Kenya Roads Board, is looking to raise over 500 billion shillings over the next 5 years to construct 220, 000 Kilometers of roads in the country. The funds will be raised through the road maintenance levy.
