60 persons have been arrested and their equipment confiscated for abusing the lifted moratorium on forest logging. This is according to forestry principal secretary Gitonga Mugambi, who has revealed that the Ministry of Environment and Forestry is working to reverse the court orders that suspended logging activities pending the hearing and determination of a case filed by Law Society of Kenya.
