Ten years ago terrorists struck Nairobi’s Westgate mall killing 67 people and injuring scores of others. Today as the country commemorates the tragic attack, the government says security has been enhanced across the country and a lot has changed in terms of capacity building for security officers. Some of the measures incorporated in the security sector since the attack include, training of private security guards who are among the key first responders when terrorists strike.
