The association of rehab centers in Kenya now wants the government through the universal health coverage initiative to include rehab centers in the NHIF umbrella with an aim to ease the burden or cost of treatment. This follows allegations by NACADA CEO Victor Okioma over the ongoing commercialization of rehab centers.
