The Kenya Livestock Marketing Council has urged the government to deploy enough security personnel to counties experiencing cattle rustling and inter- community clashes, so that calm can be restored and prevent more loss of lives and property. Kenya Livestock Marketing Council chairperson Dubat Amey further noted that although the national government has promised to tackle insecurity, there is a need to involve the local communities to avert revenge attacks to secure long lasting peace.
