GOVERNOR CALLS FOR DIALOGUE TO ADDRESS CONCERNS OF THE YOUTH

Governor Fernandes Barasa has thrown his weight behind ODM party leader Raila Odinga’s call for an “Intergenerational National Conclave” aimed at addressing the growing concerns being raised by Kenyans, particularly the youth. Speaking in Likuyani during the launch of a 60-bed capacity maternity ward at Likuyani Level IV Hospital, the Governor emphasized the urgent need for the country's leadership to listen to the frustrations and demands being voiced by young people, many of whom have taken to the streets in recent weeks in nationwide demonstrations.
