Isiolo Governor Abdi Ibrahim Guyo has vowed to forfeit the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party ticket to his opponents, if the move will keep all of them firmly rooted in support of President William Ruto’s re-election bid. Addressing members of the public in Isiolo during celebrations to mark this year’s Mashujaa day, Governor Guyo who quit the Jubilee Party on whose ticket he was elected into office, less than a year after the 2022 elections and joined UDA noted that he was confident of acquiring the UDA Party ticket to defend his position in next year’s general elections.
