Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has defended President William Ruto over high cost of living calling on leaders to put their heads together and assist the Head of State in the efforts to revive the economy. Natemmbeya, elected on Azimio-affiliated DAP-K party appears to have broken ranks with his coalition and now says all leaders have a responsibility to work with the President to improve the country’s ecobomic fortunes. Meanwhile, Kiambu governor Kimani Wamatangi has formally appointed eight new chief officers following the conclusion of their vetting by the County Assembly.
