A section of governors have locked horns with county assembly members over their executive members. The standoff has paralysed the formation of county executive in a number of counties. While in counties like Meru, MCAs have rejected the list of CECs, in other counties, allegations of nepotism, gender balance and incompetence stand between approval and rejection of the governors’ Cabinet.
