The Kenya Society of Haematology and Oncology is calling on the government to legislate and allocate 10% of the country’s annual income to cancer research countrywide. Speaking at the close of the four days conference in Mombasa, KESHO Chairperson Miriam Mutebi insists that the move will help manage the killer disease that claims over 25,000 lives annually.
