Former Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome is now facing legal consequences after being found guilty of contravening sections of the constitution.
This comes after the use of excessive force by his junior officers during medical interns' protests last year, resulting in injuries to KMPDU Secretary General Davji Atellah.
