The Head of Public Service Felix Koskei has raised the red flag over runaway graft, nepotism, and employment of unqualified and inexperienced staff by county governments. Speaking during the ongoing Intergovernmental Relations Symposium in Naivasha, Nakuru County Koskei said employment of incompetent individuals has led to increased cases of corruption, wastage of public resources, and low absorption of development funds in the devolved units.
