A student who scored 374 marks in 2023 KCPE, has shocked many in Kakuro area Kisumu County after opting to return to grade 6 at his former primary school. Jerry Orindo says he was forced to rejoin St Mercy primary school after failing to raise the required Secondary School fee. This as another boy travelled over 600 km from Kakuma refugee camp in Turkana to Kabianga High School in Kericho to join form one without school fees and other requirements.
