Two children aged four years have been burnt beyond recognition after a fire gutted down their house at Murinduko, Mwea East sub-county in Kirinyaga. The twins were left at home in the custody of their grandmother as the mother went scouting for a school which the two were to join when the unfortunate incident tragedy struck. Area assistant chief Patrick Njeru says the grandmother said she heard a loud explosion before the house was engulfed in flames.
