Hundreds left homeless in Kisumu after River Nyamasaria bursts banks

Hundreds of families from Oluti village in Kisumu East have been left homeless after River Nyamasaria broke its banks on Tuesday following heavy rains that pounded various parts of the country. Residents are now appealing for assistance in setting up their houses, as well as building of dykes along the river. Local leadership has once again taken a hit, with the affected families accusing them of negligence.
