IEBC seeks public views on 2027 campaign financing rules

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is carrying out nationwide public participation forums to gather views on proposed regulations governing campaign financing ahead of the 2027 General Election. The commission says the new rules are intended to promote fairness and transparency in political campaigns, while assuring Kenyans it is prepared to deliver a credible and transparent election.
