Police Inspector General nominee Douglas Kanja was put to task by members of parliament over the excessive use of force by the police in recent gen-z led protests. The joint security committees of the senate and national assembly that were weighing his suitability to hold the office of the IG, questioned him over how parliament was invaded under the watch of the national police service on the 25th of June this year.
