Kenyatta National Hospital now says Kennedy Kalombotele ,the prime suspect in the murder of Edward Maingi was being held at the hospital. According to the hospital management despite having discharged Kalombotole in January 2025, he had no home to return to and hence had to stay at the facility. Kalombotole was implicated in the murder of another patient who died at the facility in February this year. According to KNH, DCI had requested them to continue holding Kalombotele pending conclusion of investigations into the February KNH hospital murder.
