Independent Policing Oversight Authority Chairperson Issack Hassan has revealed that 20 people have been killed while in the custody of police authorities over the last 15 days only, with more cases going unreported. Hassan who spoke at the commemoration of the day of 'delayed justice' has also regretted appearing together with the inspector general of police douglas kanja at a press conference following the death of teacher and blogger albert ojwang. Hassan says he had already cautioned the ig that the narrative that Ojwang harmed himself was an insult to kenyans’ intelligence.
