In a move aimed at stopping a possible security operation Isiolo and Samburu members of the County assembly have embarked on a campaign to recover stolen livestock in the area. So far 16 cows have been recovered with residents being urged to surrender any cattle that has been stolen. The CS Interior Kithure Kindiki had listed Isiolo, Samburu and parts of Meru as the target for the next face of the operation Maliza Uhalifu as the fight against banditry and cattle rustling intensifies.
