Itumbi, Chirchir respond to Raila, Karua presidential petition

    President-elect William Ruto's Chief of Staff Davis Chirchir has distanced himself from claims of manipulating results in favor of his boss. In submissions filed at the Supreme Court, Chirchir says he was briefly arrested by police at the IEBC national tallying center at the bomas of Kenya during the presidential results verification exercise. Digital strategist Dennis Itumbi also dismissed reports that they hired ICT experts to facilitate the rigging of the August 9, presidential election in his submission. Itumbi said Kenya Kwanza had two independent tallying centers for the presidential vote.
