Kakamega County Governor Fernandes Barasa wants the political class in the region to stop politicizing the multi-billion dollar gold mining project in Kakamega, Vihiga and Siaya counties. Barasa, who led the county in celebrating this year's Jamhuri Day said the project has the potential to transform the economic fortunes of the regions and must be embraced.
