Joseph Kuria Irungu, one of the suspects at the center of a court case probing the murder of business lady Monica Nyawira Kimani has admitted to giving false information to Investigating officers that he was shot by thugs. Irungu alias Jowie told trial Judge Grace Nzioka that he lied because he was not licensed to hold a firearm and it belonged to a neighbor by the name Brian Kasaine. Jowi had a hard time during cross-examination explaining the sequence of events that transpired during the fateful night that Monica was found dead. Ruth Wamboi reports.
