Grade seven learners in public junior secondary schools across the country are yet to fully embark on learning, despite the arrival of newly recruited teachers to some schools on Monday. A spot check by citizen TV across various schools painted a contrasting picture in public and private schools, with the latter having started learning a week ago. As Laura Otieno reports, teachers have decried the shortage of books for the new subjects even as the ministry expressed confidence in stabilizing the roll out of the competency based curriculum
