Baringo County governor Benjamin Cheboi has called upon the government to intervene on the plight of Kabarnet School for the Deaf and Blind and its deserving students. Cheboi further appealed to the national government to release the capitation funds, emphasizing the critical importance of allowing the school to function effectively. Kabarnet School for the Deaf and Blind has been facing financial difficulties after going over two years without government funding,forcing them to rely on donation to survive. The school is organizing a 5km walk on Valentine ’s Day to raise funds to support both staff and the vulnerable children.
