A section of residents in Kajiado neighbouring Nairobi National Park, have decried rampant Human-Wildlife conflicts, and delayed compensation by the government. The herders said over the years they have lost lives, animals and destruction of crops by animals straying from the park. The government has, however, called for calm, saying verification and validation of compensation will soon be streamlined to make it efficient and timely.
