Kakamega women leaders in UDA urged to vie for party leadership

    Women leaders in UDA party in Kakamega County have been urged to step forward and vie for leadership positions within the party and national positions ahead of the grassroots elections next month. Speaking at in Musoli, Ikolomani, party officials emphasized the need for women to contest leadership roles within the party and other leadership positions to claim their space in the wake of the push for implementation of the two third gender rule. Furthermore, they stressed the importance of affordable fertilizer reaching farmers, especially in rural areas after most the women claimed they were not accessing them on time.
