Karua and mama Ida Odinga evacuated from the Gusii stadium after a tear gas canister exploded

Azimio One Kenya running mate Martha Karua and mama Ida Odinga were Thursday evacuated from the Gusii stadium after a tear gas canister lobbed next to the main dais exploded leading to a near stampede. Karua had just taken to the stage to address Azimio supporters when the incident happened scuttling the meeting. This is as Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga issued the coalition’s irreducible minimum to the IEBC demanding both the manual and electronic voter registers. Odinga was speaking in Migori where he led Azimio campaigns.
