Serikali ya kaunti ya Nairobi imekuwa ikilumbana na kampuni hiyo ya usambazaji umeme kuhusu mzozo wa shilingi bilioni 3. Serikali ya kaunti inaishutumu kampuni hiyo kwa kukatiza umeme mara kwa mara na kukataa kulipa ada za ardhi inayotumiwa kwa shughuli za kusambaza umeme. Kwa upande wake Kenya Power inasisitiza kuwa lazima serikali ya kaunti ilipe bili zote za umeme zilizosalia ili kuepuka kukatiwa umeme.
