The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation Pensioners are pushing for the release of 3.27 billion shillings to their pension scheme. Subsequently, the pensioners have signed a petition seeking to compel their employer to remit the withheld amount to the pension scheme. Speaking during the workers' Special General Meeting held in the Broadcasting House Nairobi, the pensioners, led by their Chairperson Martin King’asia warned that they might recover the funds by taking hold of the prime parcel of land belonging to the employer if their demands are not met. The petition will be forwarded to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission EACC, the Senate, National Assembly, the Commission of Administrative Justice, as well as the Judicial Service Commission, seeking their intervention in the matter.
