The Government is set to roll out a pilot project on July 1st this year for the implementation of the Kenya Education Managment Information system (KEMIS), which will replace the National Education Management Information System (NEMIS). Basic education Principal Secretary Ambassador Julius Bitok says all learners will be transited to the new system by mid July in a move meant to enhance data and information management and inform the allocation of educational resources.
