Kenya and Kuwait have submitted a joint bid to co-chair the global counter-terrorism forum East Africa working group. The bid to head the 32 country strong platform was made during the twenty third global counterterrorism forum coordinating committee meeting at a Nairobi hotel. National security advisor ambassador Monica Juma says the two countries bring frontline experiences and perspectives that speak to the geographical context and thematic issues relevant to the region.
