Kenya Kwanza leaders hit back at Uhuru over “gagging” claims

Kenya Kwanza leaders, together with their broad-based partners, have once again blasted former President Uhuru Kenyatta following his remarks on Friday that leaders in government were trying to gag him and assault his political rights. Led by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula, the team faulted the retired president for what they termed divisive remarks, saying he is the one out to rock other political parties through funding of the Linda Mwananchi faction. The leaders called out the retired president, saying he should emulate his predecessors who exited the stage with their heads held high.
