Kenya Morans lose their second consecutive match to Angola

    National basketball team popularly knowns 'Morans' lost their second consecutive match in the on-going 2021 Afrobasket qualifiers and deemed their chances of booking a ticket in next year’s finals.The team coached by Cliff Owour went down 83-66 to Angola in a match that was played today at the Kigali Arena in Rwanda. The team is optimistic of registering their first victory of the tournament when they face off with Mozambique tomorrow in their third and last group ‘B’ match. In other results, Nigeria thrashed South Sudan 76- 56 in a group ‘D’ match.The top three teams from the qualification rounds will join Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, and Equatorial Guinea who have qualified for the Afrobasket finals to be hosted in Rwanda, next year.
