Kenya Power has formally launched its own foundation in a bid to strengthen its corporate social responsibility efforts. The firm will now use the Kenya Power Foundation to promote its CSR initiatives in all the forty-seven counties. Kenya Power says it will set aside one percent of its net profit annually as seed capital over the next five years. The power distributor will also be banking heavily on partnerships and donations to boost the coffers of the foundation.
