Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Diaspora affairs Musalia Mudavadi says Kenya aims to strengthen its close bilateral relations with France. Mudavadi who attended the French National Day Celebrations held at the embassy of France in Nairobi, further noted that Kenya appreciates France's support in advancing its economic development through support of various initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for Kenyans. He noted French firms have been involved in major infrastructure projects like the upgrading of the Nairobi Commuter Railway and the urban infrastructure.He further noted that Kenya and France are firmly devoted to environmental protection and confronting the plights of climate change citing collaborations on various environmental initiatives, including the preservation of biodiversity and promotion of sustainable energy solutions.
