Kenya Yearbook Board Reforms: Gov't to enhance capacity of parastatals to deliver

The government intends to enhance the capacity of the Kenya Yearbook Editorial Board by supporting it to establish new revenue sources and cease from depending on the treasury for funding. Principal Secretary State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunications Prof. Edward Kisiang’ani says this is in line with the government’s plan to make parastatals financially independent and create more job opportunities . He spoke in Naivasha, Nakuru County during a meeting of the Kenya Yearbook Editorial Board and management.
