The Kenya Government and United Kingdom have agreed to put 500 billion Kenyan shillings into new British investment projects to support Kenya’s leadership on climate change. As part of the deal, the two countries have agreed to fast-track finance into six major clean and green projects in Kenya. United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak commended President William Ruto for pioneering climate leadership and urged Kenya to continue along the path of green growth.
