In a country where thousands of graduates are chasing limited jobs, 23-year-old Franco Chundukwe is charting a different path. Dressed in traditional Samburu attire, the community development student from Nanyuki is leveraging culture to promote his businesses at an international exhibition in Nairobi’s Sarit Centre. For Franco, this is more than a marketplace. It is proof that Kenya’s youth, faced with one of the region’s highest unemployment rates, are finding bold and creative ways to survive and thrive.
