Members of the Kiambu County Assembly allied to Governor Kimani Wamatangi have dismissed a plot by a section of their colleagues to impeach the governor. Led by Kamenu Ward representative Peter Mburu the MCAs vowed to defeat any impeachment motion against the governor if brought to the floor of the house. The MCAs have lauded Governor Wamatangi for pushing for the gazettement of the Export Processing Zone (EPZ) to be established at the Delmonte land in Thika.
