Kindiki defends empowerment rallies, vows to press on

Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki has defended the economic empowerment undertaken by the Kenya Kwanza leaders, affirming that the government is keen on ensuring small and medium-sized businesses at the grassroots level get an economic boost. Speaking in Baringo and Nakuru counties, Kindiki aimed at those opposing the empowerment programmes across the country, insisting that he will not be distracted by the naysayers.
