King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands have arrived in Nairobi this evening for their highly anticipated state visit to kenya. the royal couple is set to spend four days in the country, beginning today, march 17, until March 20th. the visit comes amid protests by a section of Kenyans online who feel that the government is to blame for human rights violations such as abductions and enforced disappearances of perceived government critics as well as opposition figures of neighboring countries and as such does not warrant hosting such high profile guests.
