Kisii governor launches road projects, urges support for development-focused politics

Kisii County Governor Simba Arati and a host of leaders from the Gusii region allied to the broad-based government have rallied the region to back President William Ruto’s 2027 re-election bid. Citing ongoing infrastructural transformation within the county, being done jointly by both levels of government, the leaders promised to consolidate the region's vote basket ahead of the 2027 polls.
