Life is a cycle, they say, and just like the seasons, each change sends ripple effects through livelihoods. In the arid region of Mutomo, Kitui South, Kitui County, scarce rainfall and prolonged dry spells have birthed a harsh reality that women in the community are forced to endure. This lack of rain has led to food shortages for families, often resulting in conflicts and violence, particularly against women. These women refuse to let climate change silence their voices and together share their experiences as they seek alternative ways to sustain their livelihoods.
