The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Dentists Union (KMPDU) has thrown its support behind Health CS Aden Duale, calling him the right leader to revamp Kenya’s health sector. The union commended his proposal to implement Social Health Authority (SHA) deductions at the primary level for civil servants, including healthcare workers, as a step toward better welfare and systemic reforms. With the sector long plagued by challenges, KMPDU says Duale’s leadership could be the turning point health professionals and Kenyans have been waiting for.
