Kenya National Union of Teachers has called on the government to release capitation funds to schools ahead of their reopening next week on Tuesday. KNUT Deputy Secretary General Hesbon Otieno warned that late disbursement of capitation funds affects the implementation of the CBC curriculum, adding that arrears for the first term should also be disbursed for the smooth running of the institutions.
