The Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers in Busia County is urging the government to boost infrastructure and staffing in schools to ensure the success of the Competency-Based Curriculum. KUPPET Secretary General for Busia Branch, Moffat Okisai, says poor infrastructure and teacher shortage are the greatest impediments to the curriculum. He is calling for the employment of more teachers to avert a looming education crisis.
